Hoku Polysilicon Plant
OEG’s scope of work in the new plant involved the complete electrical and instrumentation and controls, including: 15 kv electrical distribution, 13.8 kv, 4160 volt and 480 volt electrical systems, specialty systems, instrument and control, start up and commissioning. These systems tied into the new reactor and process facility, the administration building, the maintenance/ warehouse and control building, wastewater treatment plant, industrial gas facility, process gas, recovery systems and site utilities. The finished plant will produces up to 4,000MT of crystals per year of highly purified silicon.
